Hi,
Just trying to get an idea of the number of junior riders [0 - 16 years] who ride quads in Qld?????
Let me know If you or you have kids who ride quads ??
What kind of quad they ride ??
Are you/they interested in racing??
Not just MX but enduro, flat track , all types.
Post or PM you answers.
I am trying to promote quad riding / racing in Qld for juniors as it doesn't exist at present .Our weekends at Manar Park with QQRA have unearthed a few riders but we would dearly like to get more.
In July QQRA is running an enduro ride at Manar Park with a 12-16 class and a demo under 12 class. It would be great to get some good numbers to support this event.

Hi,
my son has just turned 12 has his licence and is dying to race
loves all types of riding and has alot of talent, i am concidering doing some S.A. events to get him a ride and he rides an 09 raptor 250
Good to here somthing happining here in QLD

Hi Bill,
Nice to hear from you.That makes 4 so far. 3 raptor 250's and 1 trx300. I had to look up where you guys lived in the qld road directory. Looks like lots of open space out there. It would be great if you could make it to the QQRA enduro in july and the queensland titles at coolum later in the year.A couple of us are thinking about taking our boys to the ACT for the 2nd round of the tri-series in May.Let us know if you are interested.

I have a 14 yr old who is quite quick on my 450...but he just don't have the relevant quad that would let him ride in the Juniors class.
He has a CRF230 2 wheeler that i would sell if a decent quad came up for him

There was a raptor 250 for sale in the buy and sell section just recenly for $4000 at mackay. 08 se orange .Might be worth a look.

Hopefully we should be able to get some regular practice / racing for juniors happening in se qld soon!! Check in the general section under kids racing in brisbane.
We'll let you know when its all happening.

Well hope we get some kids on the track Sunday, This is my second time trying to get the kids riding. I tried about two and a half years ago at another track and no one turned up so I went and brought the kids two wheelers, anyway dusted of the little quad and looking forward ro sunday. |
