gooch here, my ride of choice is a yam 450 . my last full year of racing was in 2004 when i was riding the yam i won the southern irish support championship. it had no engine work, except for a scorpion can.it had laeger plus 2 plus 1 short travel a - arms, elka suspension, plus 2 steering stem, dura blue axle kenda klaw/gnarly tyres. it was brilliant to jump and corner. i rebuilt the suspension with long travel pep suspension and plus 2 laeger swing arm for the 2005 season, strange as it sounds i didnt like it with l.t suspension, and i couldnt corner as tight with long swing arm.
i had afully kitted 450 r with fox air/gibson suspension and hated it.
in 2007 i had a standard suzuki 450, did a few club races and relly enjoyed it. |
