Anyone got a rebuilt kit for a yfz that didn't end up using. Just piston, rings and gasket. Also does anyone have the guts of a muffler laying around that they want to give to a good home. Just want to make sure my bike isn't going to be too loud.

Nah hasn't gone bang, just want to change them over before something does. It's done a fair few hours and I think the rings are getting a bit worn.

Yours or Nathans???, neither that I know of, but nathan was a bit worried about it after Arenacross the other night. Law of averages shows LTRs blow gearboxes (Design fault with 3rd) more than YFZs blow engines. Why else would they make a billet 3rd gear set for the LTR?

the billet 3rd gear issue was more apparent in the 08 model onwards as undercutting the gear changed and tep nathans now was my old one lol

yfz before 06 had bango prob thats why 04 and o5 done the oil mod clarkie also used to blow the bung out too

all models have issues you bluffing yaself if ya think they dont have gremlins lol

I understand that Quad, but getting a bite out of OZ450 is all done in fun, had already spoken to Feral about rebuilding it soon when I repaired the wiring and did some other PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE on it for him.
