I learnt a new lesson today. I went for a ride today on the IRS and was going up a big rutted hill, I got cross rutted about half way up, I reversed back a bit then got off to line up the wheels on a nice line. Got back on gave it some berries and off she went backwards down the hill with myself on it. I bailed off the back and my legs made for good chocks lol.
While it was happening I was having visions of the Quad back flipping all the way to the bottom, It's an 09 model and was only It's 4th time out.

well at least you wernt hurt to badly, but a bruised and battered ego will be the death Knell for us all. Any damage to the bike ???

Nah, No damage to the Quad but I left my heart on the side of the track somewhere  .

Your a lucky lad. No damage to yourself most importantly or the machine. I've attached a pic of the last time I came off at the Bridport Dunes Christmas Eve 2008. (Hopefully the last).
The end result -
Ambulance trip to Launceston General Christmas Eve.
Christmas Day lying on my back in hospital in a smidgen of pain.
Boxing Day on the operating table.
Two plates and 13 screws in the wrist.
12 stitches in a gash in the leg. (No pic).
Maybe there are a few others out there with their own hard/bad luck stories.
