That is fairly normal with those types of diffs.
Still seems a bit spastic to put the brakes on to make it go.
And thats after over 30 years of working the fun tools.
I still much prefer a full diff lock.
For the 0.5% of overall time that I might actually need it.......

Yes well its just like power dividers in some trucks you must dab the brake to get it to lock in and like my old cruiser I had to revers to get it in and out of 4WD also there is no need for brake pressure its just that the brake liver has to micro switchers on it one of witch is for the lock

Thats crazy on the grizzly 700 you just press the button on the move ??? 2 wheel, to 4wheel ,to lock its awesome when your getting bogged down but dont want to stop.

you / I dont need to stop to engage the lock and meister don't you have to push 4wd and then the lock button but not before sliding the lock cover yes
In my case a finger on the brake when i need the lock like thats ever !
