hey guys i wanna hook up a rear light to my trike as in a red stop light, i tried hooking one up to the green wire like you would a head light, now the actual light has a voltage range from 12 to 33 volts and draws .03 amps (its a LED one)well it worked till i revd the engine then it just blew, im not sure what i have done wrong or maybe the light doesnt draw enough amps

do any of you tech gurus out there have a solution for me ?

If you only hook up a rear light, it will blow. The 70 lighting stator needs the load of a headlight to keep the voltage down. You can also use a aftermarket shunt regulator to keep from blowing the taillight

Some trail bikes have these kind of regulators honda XR's etc.
Or maybe you might be able to put a resistor on the wire going in to the light ??
