New mag is on the stands today ( also has a CD,Quads to the Cape), trike story from NZ featured in Trike Central and some in the Onya Bike pages as well.

| that dvd that came with that mag, the trip up to the top of queensland is bloody good. id love to do a trip like that except on a trike like a big red 250es for carrying stuff, but it would be alo of fun on a 250r or a 350x. |

Well said mate! We need to pull our finger out. Im gonna burn my footage to disk next week and send it off for sure! Ive been slack. What about you Aussie, what are you sending to Stu?

with that camera on ebay, with the description and picture of what comes in the package, is that a remote next to the usb cord that starts/stops it recording?
and what do ya reckon of it. after seeing that bloke talk about it the video quality looks pretty good.
ive been interested in gettin a helmet cam for a while but havent found anything practical, but this looks pretty good. |

I have no idea mate... I'll just be stoked if it even gets here.  I only bought it last night.
Your right but, the quality looks pretty darn good...especially for $25!

Good stuff, now we expect at least one vid a fortnight.  When you get some footage or even if you've got some lying around at the moment you should send it in to Stu to put in our DVD.

i got one of those cameras too after seeing this thread. it also works a web cam.
i made a video on youtube just to test it out. i reckon the picture is bloody good for what it is. i got it off ebay for $27.

i put a post on another forum called aussie street bikes about this helmet cam and about 10 other people got one after that.

I think i got a broken one...mine makes a bad clicking sound. My flashcard hasnt arrived yet either. Did you use the disk with it to install it?

yeah i heard a bit of a clicking sound. does it do it all the time or just when theres wind.
some people on ASB forum had some trouble with them. something about the camera lens not being right.
heres what he said
'Mine appeared to be a dud... but i pulled it a part. The CMOS sensor camera had disconnected.
Plugged it back in, a little fiddly but it works fine.
I also couldn't install the drivers but I just used a micro SD card and a SD card reader. Would be cool to get it working as a webcam.
Very happy with the camera and its footage.
Thinking so far that it is going to be a good little rear facing camera for track day.'
i didnt have any trouble installing, but the program comes up with an error saying it cant create a video filter. but it doesnt affect it using it as a web cam

It clicks all the time. Badly. At that price though i'll just get another one. 1 for the front and 1 for the back!

| ive made a few videos with the camera but i found out that windows movie maker on this computer here doesnt work. when i go to publish the video it freezes at about 30 sumthin %, spewin! |

Well while were completely off topic i may aswell add i just bought a new Hi Definition Go Pro Wide Hero Helmet cam. State of the art-waterproof etc and i cant even edit my vids in Windows movie Maker because its in MP4 format and im unsure how to convert the files. Id throw it in the river but like i said... bloody things waterproof!
