thought that, a mates looking a a brand new 2 year old model and he swears it has power steering, I said i didnt think so cos I read somewhere thy were only just released with it. I think I should buy one to do thumb pump on, they look like 2 fistfulls of fun

The Yanks have had eps for a few years now Clarkie. Poaaibly is it a overseas job thats up for sale?
The "brand new 2 year old" isn't that unusual with the global economic thingy. Local dealer tried to rip us off with that scam when we were buying.
Sometimes when a finance institution forecloses a dealership, the floor stock is auctioned and otherwise barterd out. It re-surfaces somewhere else later on........
The kms don't mean anything to the buyer when they try to sell a 7 year old bike in 5 years time........unless they can get it for the used value of a 2 year old bike now.

Its through the Can-Am dealer in Mildura, he got it in especially for a customer then the bloke didnt want it.

Mind you I haent ridden one, but I reckon the outlander crps all over it in so many way. Just my opinion naturally.

I'm just basing my thoughts there on the eps from another forum, Yogie.
What they get as a 2008 model for example, we get as a 2009 model.
Eitherway, a nice ride.....

Narr, i think Yogie is right.
The DPS was a world wide release, and we only got them a few months after due to sea freight an back ordersetc.
They are all 2010 models.
The U.S. GNCC X Team ran DPS for half of last season on their race bikes.
It was basically the testing and developement ground for the DPS.
But It was never fitted to a 2009 model for sale to the public.
It can not be retrofitted to an earlier mode either.
For a few reasons, but mainly because of the 650watt generator.
Unlike the earlier units the high output coils are oil cooled by a different oil galeries in the engine case.

Yeah, any enduro now days.
the 2008 GCR's had a 700cc limit.
Bt 2009 and 2010 are 850cc same as FIM (International Standard).
