I used to live in Shepp (Kialla West) and i know for a fact there are heaps of sport and ute quad riders around the area. Although nothing of significance has ever been organised to get them all together.
It would be great to have one of our state MX rounds up there, hopefully coax out the locals.
We haven't had a northern round in ages. We went to Seymour last year, and Broadford the year before, and Cobram many years ago.
PS. PeteW & i still visit Shepp (the in-laws) fairly regularly. Are you interested in a social ride? Where do you usually ride out there? _________________ (PeteW's missus)

Being new to Victoria, I'm not sure how far Shep is to Albury/Wodonga but I'm looking for other Quad riders to come and ride at the Albury/Wodonga MX track with me.
I'm a member and they're happy to let me ride but there are only a couple of us that ride here and on some practice nights I'm out on the track by myself. I'd really like some backup. I'm willing to ride at your track in return as long as its withing about 2.5hrs.
I enjoy racing but I can assure you that I care more about enjoying the sport, so Its not sheep stations here. If you know what I mean
I'm off to look at a map....... Now I've heard of Shep.... where the F__K is it _________________ State governments give us REC rego + area to ride ATVs legaly! Shep is just down the Road from here.
Are you up for a drive to Albury/Wodonga?
I'll drive down to Shep no worries. Do you have many areas to ride without getting in trouble with the gestapo?
If not are you up for some MX riding _________________ State governments give us REC rego + area to ride ATVs legaly! State Status: VIC-No (Nazi's) QLD-Yes(no place to ride tho) NT-? Hey Blaster Babe Does the Vic Quad club want to come and race a round up in Albury/Wodonga later on in the year?
I can put it to the commitee... I can't speak for them but I think that they may be receptive. I noticed that the QRCV dosen't have all its tracks nailed down for the whole year.
It hosts Vic titles for the Bikes fairly regularly. Its a very Quad friendly type of track, even despite a couple of narrow sections. I'd say 85% of the track is very wide, with heaps of passing points and some nice sweepers. almost all of the Jumps have square faces that allow the quad to fly nice and straight and all of the down ramps are more than ample. There is a stutter section but the track is set up so this can be bypassed easily.
Anyway give me a hoy if you think anyone from the Vic Quad club would be interested and I'll chase it up _________________ State governments give us REC rego + area to ride ATVs legaly! You need to contact Mark Beechey at the QRCV as far as racing schedule goes; he's the race co-ordinator. Contact him through the club, he's pretty approachable.
The closest we will get to you is for a cross-country race at Mansfield.....
Download the latest Newsletter from the web site for all the info.
Hope to see you there.

Don't know about the Vic Quad club, but it sounds good to me. The club has never really ventured into the northern area and i feel that it is missing out. I'm not on the committee, i'm just a member. But I can let it be known at a future meeting. To be honest, i doubt anything will come of it. But it doesn't hurt to try... _________________ (PeteW's missus)

Hey Ozquad44, me and BB might be up for some MX practise maybe about late june, (we've go no MX on in Vic for june) If you can give a date we can get on the track there we might be able to round up a few for a trip.
mouffa, where abouts in Shep are you? I spent a bit of time up there when I was a kid and used to ride in some of those areas along the rivers. _________________

My old man runs a dairy farm not far from Numurkah. He used to live at Bunbartha so I've been to the Loch Garry riding area a few times (on my old 426). there are some good spot up around Barmah too. _________________
