Hey folks,
Can you please let me know if you are interested in supporting all or any of these rounds .
There will be a minimum of 10 Quads to hold a class.
This is a great chance to get this disaplin going for Quads
PROPOSED 2007 SUPERMOTO CHAMPIONSHIP & STATE CALENDER.
Due to so many Championships being held early in the year from Feb-Aug 07, we proposed to switch around our Series to help attract racers from other disciplines to supermoto in their off season.
2007 National Supermoto Championship.
Round 1 25th Aug Oran Park. TBC
Round 2-3. 6-7th Oct. Newcastle Go-Kart centre, Day.
Round 4-5. 10-11th Nov. Ipswich Go-Kart Double header QLD
Round 6. 1st December Coffs Harbour.
2 x Double Header Weekends- 4 rounds
2 x Single event weekends
This also helps in keeping some costs down for Interstate racers who can Budget for one less race meeting, obviously the longest travel meeting for them.
2007 East Coast Supermoto events.
SUPERMOTO MAYHEM CUP
Round 1. FEB 25th Oran Park with Moto Mayhem
Round 2. May 5-6th Newcastle Mt Sugarloaf Go-Kart TBC
Round 3. 16-17th June Raleigh raceway.
SUPERMOTO TEAMS Endurance.
One off. Saturday 14.7.07 July at Oran park.
Other states will be running Supermoto events as well to fill in the calendar.
Regards ASM Team. _________________ Cheers

Whoohhh there Lenny Boy
Slow down tiger ! I have spoken to a few of the "Key People" within the quad racing fraternity recently to get some feedback as to Quad Supermoto. Based on the information that I recieved back some 12-14 weeks ago I decided to go ahead and get the open quad class introduced into the "2007 Australian Supermoto Championships" as a bonafide Championship class. After many many e-mails,teleconferences, phone calls and several meetings I am now on the home straight and I am meeting (again) with Motorcycling Australias Board of Directors on Thursday 25th January in melbourne to get their approval, some of their requirements include a full grid of twelve (12) Quads and a class sponsor.
Only Four of the six 2007 Australian Supermoto Championships will host the Quad class, that will be the double headers at Newcastles Cameron Kart track 22nd / 23rd september and Queensland Raceways Ipswich Kart club 20th / 21st October. Because these events are a National Championship we need full grids of twelve Quads at all four rounds so we need to rally the troops and generate some genuine interest and commitment from the Quad fraternity. If I could get some indication on this site from the quad guys as to who or how many intend to enter and support our class then it will make my job a whole lot easier on the 25th of January when trying to successfully clear that final hurdel.
Regards

Cool Dereck , just trying to get interest going before the real deal as the problem is and always is numbers at those events ,however if QLD and NSW support each event in each state with punters around Australia chipping in then we should get at least 20 racers ! Come on peoples ,who's in ? _________________ Cheers

Mums car doesnt have a tow ball. Think she would mind if i just tied the trailer to the back of the car somehow? And do you think the cops would let me off for not having a liscence???
As for the leathers, im not that tall. Im not shure it is humanly possible to be tall in my family. _________________ Mic

Jees Mic.......It's not hard, just bring her car to my workshop and we'll just hack out the boot and back seats and "Hey Presto" a mercades ute just waiting for your quad , oh yea you might also have to leave home a few years earlier than planned.
