have used powermadd, we now use RHK hand guards, (reason, mostly price) available at Rockingham Powersports and I guess most bike shops.

There all good
New model have tab to stop them rotating when you don’t want them to.
Saved my hand when I missed a turn at Peak Enduro and went under the barb wire fence. Ripped my bar pad and gloves but the hand guards were in good shape. Lucky I had them!

ha ha, I've got some of them...... laughing

Powermadd are good as far as open hand guards go, I had a set for years, gto used on my YFZ, lent to one of our pro riders to use at Finke, back on my YFZ for some more flogging, lent to another pro rider for Finke next year different rider... my handguards got a 2 podiums at finke.... and then finally got sold with one of the pro 450's and are still around somewhere on that 450.

If you are riding in dense bush I'd be going for a full wrap around with alloy frame like the Zeta or Barkbusters ones

i have the Bark busters on my quad , they have the alloy wrap around frame , found them real handy on the recent ride in Tassie in the narrow tracks , highly reccomended about 90 bucks and easy to install.

The full wrap around type will take more of an impact but I think are not allowed in MX or where jumps may be encountered. The Powermad can be a bit of a jigsaw puzzle to fit, but it's all good.
