It came out as a farm trike in the mid 80's I think and turned into a quad about 89 _________________ Smitty |

YES they are a good bike. Alot of my mates have them and they go forever. Not the quickest bike but they go and go. We take them out chasing goats and even on hot days they just keep going. Really reliable too. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

| Sounds just what I want for a farm bike. I was going to buy a honda 250 but could not justify the 8 grand plus . I have been looking at this big red for 3500 seems to go well |

What year is that. I know around here because all the grape farmers have them you can pick one up for around $1500. It would be a really good farm bike. I am thinking of getting one just for a spotlighting bike. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

Sound a bit expensive rose I wouldn't pay over $2000 just remember to keep the oil up to it as they use a bit _________________ Smitty |

I think Honda made them to at least 1999.
I've hammered a few 98 models around and they are a good basic 4x4.
They won't thrill you in any respect, but they are very reliable. _________________ Can-Am X Team

The newer 250's seem to be a good bike also. Probably quicker than a big red too. My boss has one that he uses on his block and it goes pretty good. Could nearly beat my china 250 in a drag. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

Yeah feral is right, the TRX250EX is maybe better than half way to a sports bike.
And the 300 4x4 is not 1/4 of the way there.
Depends what mix you are chasing. _________________ Can-Am X Team

Not sure about the newer ones but the older big red 300 4x4's were constant 4x4 and my 110cc could beat them. The 2x4's go alright though. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"
