cover it in WD-40 or equivalent, and wash it after every ride.

Good things rusting and beaches just sort of go together, Earthmover Yuck
The real damage is inside the frame where you can't see it. Pressure cleaners easily put the corrosive stuff where you can't see it. Crying or Very sad
Getting it spotless and then dry and treating with wd40 or similar helps. Smile
The real keen beach fishermen get their whole chassis galvanised and go for fibreglass panels OR just keep trading them in. Wink Wink Wink

Hi Earthmover, I degrease my quad with Koala care degreaser, then wash it with (CT18 Truck Wash). Following that I totally soak the whole thing in (Easy Sheen), it's a silicon that I buy from a company called Autosmart . I've tried using the spray can silicon but that's way to expensive.

I wash the quads after EVERY RIDE. I use a soft hand brush with truck wash + a splash of degreaser.

I use a pump spray bottle & cover the entire frame + all metal parts in CRC (not the brakes, plastics or seat). I buy CRC and degreaser in 5L packs (heaps cheaper).

If you use a pressure cleaner, don't get too close. You will push crap into spots you don't really want to.

Don't clean the chain with a pressure cleaner. Use a brush and CRC.

Use WD-40 or CRC as chain lube before you ride in the dunes. Heavy chain lube is sticky and holds sand the same way grease does.

Try not to put the bikes away when they are wet.
