| Just wondering where the best place is to get a swingarm rebuild kit for a banshee? Just went to the local bike shop and they quoted $225!!!! I know JMC does them for $80, think I might contact them. Any input would be good. |

Glen, Pivot Works Swingarm kit $88, Linkage Kit $142. RRP. the $225 the bike shop probably quoted you was for both.
Let me know if you want one before Tuesday and I can bring it to Bairnsdale or get it to you through the week.

Thanks. I ended up ordering one from JMC last night. They seemed pretty good. And the dealers price was just the swingarm stuff! Anyone got any Idea on how long it should take to complete? Tip would also be welcome. Thanks,

well i found removing axle was easy as had to press old bearing cases out and press newies in
think we did it in around 2.5 to 3 hrs including fitting new axle bearings
thats provided u got a press handy
i sent pics of plstics too Glenn _________________ black covered in 5.7 powered oversize quad

not sure about the stock setup but if you can read the bearing numbers and the housings aren't damaged, try CBC or similar. $80 from JMC seems pretty cheap, its probably not worth searching round much more for that price. _________________ Proud Member of QuadridersSA

Well, I pulled out my swingarm to find one of the bearings was completely shot, the leftovers were basically fused inside the swingarm and the suspesion linkage bushes were also shot. I will hopefully have all of the parts and the swingarm back on friday, hopefully I have enough time to put it all back together in time to race a t bairnsdale! |
