Hey guys, i know i could of posted this elsewhere on the forum or looked at the endless threads on other sites about this but i wanted my 3 wheeled brethrens opinion. I want to get started on paint or powdercoat early next week so i need your opinions. Im pretty much only getting the frame done, ive got a pretty good idea of the colour and its got to be a pretty specific shade and i was thinking i'd probably have a better chance of getting the colour i want if i went to a panel beater/body shop but ive heard powder is better. Im not real worried about the cost, i just want a good job that will last. Any suggestions? _________________

I powder my stuff but ive only really used flame red, i think with the specific colour your after paint will be the only option Ben.

Thanx for that Tony, thats what i thought but i wanted to hear someone with experiances thoughts. I just did some research about powder and its not like paint where you can tint colours and shades etc. Im sure paint will hold up fine, i painted it myself last time with rattle cans and it held fine so a proper automotive paint job should be ok. Besides, its not as if i crash or anything. _________________
