ive got a grizzly 700 and never had the belt slip .even with four wheels bogged in the sand down to its belly.
ive sunk my quad drove into a hole, water went over the handle bars .when i drained every thing out and got it going the belt slipped a bit but as soon as the heat got into it it was fine ,never had a problem since.
ive read that some quads hve this problem not sure what brands someone else might be able to shed some light on it .
it will slip if its worn out .i have been told that the yamahas have the best drive system not because i own one, have read it numerous time in ATV magazines .
i ride mine pretty hard over 2000km on it now and not a problem yet.
let me know if you need any more info pleased to help _________________ 2008 yamaha grizzly 700EPS /EFI

| Ive had two Grizzly's a 2000 mod with 13,000 k, A 2003 with 7,000 k and a Brute Force 750 with 1,300 k and no problems, In fact I bought a new belt for the 660 Grizzly to replace the old one but it didn't play up, so Its still hanging on the wall. |
