Pretty broad question atm mate, whats good, how much is ridiculous and can probably recommend something in the country so no wait period. _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

Very Hard to answer just because there isnt a lot of product out there. the thing is dont be scared of Chinese Im sure even my Polaris has some chinese components in it beware instead of the price/spec they are built to.
You really seem to be looking for a used Rhino or something and UI wouldnt think youre going to get much for $8500. Keep an eye out on E-bay and Trading post which usually have something over the time of a month but I doubt we'll meet all your criteria.
You're maybe likely to find a handbuilt EDGE buggy (plans made by edge.com.au Australia) or edge themselves have at time had products on sale or consignment. Also www.torq.com.au is the break off group that is buggies instead of ATV's so they are worth a visit but they are generally racers so may not be as recreational as you want but you may get lucky say if you post a want ad on there.
Personally I havent driven or looked at any of the high end Chinese buggies which you will see if you stay on e-bay for a month and they may well be worth looking at at that price Ive seen themn with car specific engines and gear that would seem fairly good in a picture so may be worth your while to at least examine the high end chinese stuff.
You may well be getting more for your money like that than waiting for a beat up rhino or ranger.
Good luck _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

Considering both Polaris and Can-am have components built in China Id say thats pretty high end!!
Nah but yeah but nah, say check the Atomik 700ccs out has anyone actually looked at them to see whether they are better than the $1500 jobs?
I have and though I havent driven ridden one or know anyone I just didnt want to stick a name in there but they use same tubing as say Joyner do and have a direct shaft drive to a CVT. Dont know If the shafts are same thickness whatever, whatever, but a warranties cover should unveil theri confidance in the vehicles and the business has been there near 10 years.
Thats one is Melbourne, but like I said I cant name drop them coz I havent ridden them and no-one has any feedback on them.
So maybe I should leave it as high end priced Chinese is a better quote?! _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

I was wondering if the guys with SUVs (SxS or Sports Utility Vehicles) would like to get together at either a ride like this, (There is rides now promoted at Cape York, WA, NSW and Tas) with the intentionof bringing everyones machinery out for a run and a look and also with the intention of forming the Australian SUV club or whatever we call it.
There is also the sandfest ride coming up on the Vic SA border where the NSW guys can get traight down the Freeway.Hwy to Adelaide on (see details in Vic section or havent checked SA section yet but 30th Oct to 3rd Nov - Melb cup w/e)
Can everyone post if they have such a machine and if they;d be interested? PM anyone you know to comment I'll start a thread.
Cheers guys _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs
