Hi over the last 2 weeks have been riding a mates YFZ 450 and loving it.
I have decided to look at getting one for myself and have started to do a little research as i will want to race it as well. Just curious as to what the better brand and models are to get.
And what clubs there are in Sydney I am from The Hornsby area.
Thanks

Hi Sam,
I live on the Central Coast and race .They do some flat track at Penrith,MX at Singleton and Tamworth MX DT and Speedway Next week Saturday 13th Jan 07.
Honda,Suzuki and Yamaha all build a good 450.
I have owned and Raced a Yamaha YFZ 450 and currently on a Honda TRX 450 R
I prefer TRX 450 R Honda for their very strong engine (Holds together very well when worked and has potentially the most Horsepower out of the three ) once you put all the race gear on they pretty much handle the same .
I can help get you a very competative deal on a Honda or Yamaha , and also deal in all aftermarket accesories ,build race /Recreational engines and tune suspension for all brands, you can call me on 0422 479 788 for more info if you like.

its up to your budget, if you wana race and you are limited for $$$ Suzuki LTR 450 is the way to go $11,100 and your set, don't mind these honda and yamie guys yes they are mates of mine so i will bag the crap out ofthere bikes because every time i wana go riding with them there bike is not going for what ever reason.
your best bet is to go for a ride on all of them but don't go for what everyone else has, do your own thing. if any of use can help you out pm us mate.

I think I would like to go with either a Zook or Honda there seems to be heaps more Yamaha's than the others for sale so it might take a little bit to find one i like.
Thanks for all the help though.
