At about a minute into it, a helmet might have been a good idea... _________________ 2005 KFX700

The Honda is a nice machine , i think the only thing that lets them down is the transmission , being a 3 speed , they could do with a little lower first gear for the real delicate stuff , just so you dont have to rev it up so much , only to have it take off all of a sudden.
I rode a mates rincon on the weekend not a bad machine, great if you like a variety of riding terrains, nice wheels to, looks awesome.
Would of liked to have seen a helmut , not being picky just if it went over on you , i wouldnt like to have my head pinned between the bike and the rocks.
Keep em coming all the same cheers. _________________ 2012 Can am Outlander Xt 1000cc

Im in the middle of or i should say at the start of getting a big red gear redution kit it will reduce all gears by i think 25/ 28% it will depend on if the auto shift still works or not on if i go no with it . The helmet yes well..... _________________ If its got wheels I'll drive it!

| Hi Earthmover. Top looking wheels. Q Is that jacked up in the suspension or is it just oversized wheel tyres combination? |

Saw your daughters ride on the same YouTube page, squeek seems like brake pads (lack of) having had that experience once in a car.
She's got the idea with the helmet. Looks like you'd have more fun going for a second quad for Mum and daughter to ride a film your antics before you worried about reduction gears, your daughter rides the big Rubicon with ease!
Looks like a fun couple of playgrounds you've found!! _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

Yeah i guess you can have your reduction gear! lol
Hope you find something you are after. My following of the ads has seen very little in the way of Vic advertisers and much more up your way to have a choice of so I dont know how you'll go finding something here.
For my money there has always been a lot of people asking for too much for 2nd hand quads and well priced ones go in a split second on e-bay and such.
The best thing I would have seen lately if you can do without 4wd is the Polaris Hawkeye was being run-down or out of last years of year before models at dealers and they were a cracking price, less than most people ridiculous 2nd hand prices. So maybe see if you can find advertising for that.
A couple of times I was tempted by the Hawkeye but I went a buggy due to arthritic problems.
Good luck mate! _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

Hi Earthmover,
Dino and Teesh here in Brissie. We had the same problem regarding second-hand/rip-off north american new. Our problem was worse because we NEEDED a 2 seater. We ended up getting a new one for about 3/4 the price of a new Polaris by doing a lot of research. And that price was less than 1/2 of the "best price" of a 2008 model Can Am 2 seater in 500cc. If you really want another quad, consider a CF Moto. We got ours from Market Direct. We are very happy with it. Our bank balance is a lot better off too. All we need is for the phone to ring a bit more so we can shift dirt instead of emails....... |
