| i use ct-18 this has no degreasing elements so it doesnt take all the lube off the chain and leaves other parts on the bike lubricated thats necessary. unlike degreasers which do the opposite. i put 100mls in a spray bottle top the rest up with water to thin it down to spray, leave it sit 10 mins and pressure clean off. |

Hit it with the hose then degrease, hose again, then i scrub it with a brush (dustpan & brush type) using a bucket of warm soapy water (dishwashing liquid) then hose off. Let dry then i spray everything except seat and grips with a water disperant such as wd40 etc, it makes your plastics shine. _________________

CT-18 & plenty of water.
Plug the exhaust and air filter inlet.
After all finished and dry I spray the engine and all metal parts with WD40. WD40 seems to repel the mud next time I ride. I also wax the plastics once a year.
I'm very @nal about my quad. There is not a speck of dirt on it when I put it away till next ride (which isn't very often). _________________ Don't close your eyes during the crash, you'll miss the best part |

lifting the front end up so it sits on the rear grab bar helps get to the underside much easier _________________ Proud Member of QuadridersSA

CT 18 in a weed sprayer works sweet, then go nuts. Soak for 5-10 mins. then hose off.
Degreaser for oily motors.
I use scourers to clean aluminium parts that aren't polished, nerfs, etc. |
