Hi guys,
I have an older model 350 Moto 4, 4WD with high and low range, reverse etc.
Well this old girl has had a hard life before I found her, and now she needs TLC to get her back to good health.
The frame is cracked, any advice on welding it? Is normal arc welding okay?
Then the bash plate was rusted away, where can I get a replacement aluminium version?
Any one got a PDF manual or know where to down load one?
Any other tips / advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Gobby Perth WA |

Get the frame done by a pro, wont cost much, and they'll see any other problems. just my 2 cents worth. _________________ 2005 KFX700

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your responses, and advice.
Took the quad to a welding shop, and the response was that it is totally rusted, and there was no material left to weld. The guy did weld on some supports, but could not vouch for the frame, and advised me to replace it.
Checked with the wreckers, and they don't have anything for me, so if anyone out there knows of an unloved 350 Moto 4 please let me know.
Thanks guys. |
