Hi all ready for a new rebuild for my yfz 07.

Question is are there good and bad results from doing this.

My bike is all setup for racing so suspension etc all done.

Is power that much more or would a stock setup be ideal all round.

More power would sometimes help but is this more hassle.

Have heard they cause over heating problems etc.

Anyones answers much appreciated.

A big bore will not last for as long as a stock size high comp, it will put more strain on your crank and be more likely to overheat.

having said that it will make more power (if it is built properly) and be more fun to ride if you can hang onto it.
