 |
|
Hi all
Up for sale is my 2005 Grizzly 660
I will list some of the extras that it has and will add some pics as soon as i can , within the next few days.
Ok here goes it is an 05 Yamaha Grizzly 660 cc It has highlifter bash plates from front to back ,it is a 2 piece system which required no drilling as it is a retrofit to existing mounts and holes already on the quad, the bash plates were added at a cost of over 600 dollars
It also has a 3500lb remote winch ,which also has a handle bar switch , the winch is fitted using a custom mounting bracket which sits far enough back so as not to hinder climbing over logs and so forth.,the cost off atv winches around the same capacity are near to 500 dollars plus fitment and winch mount cost,s.
This quad has been servied regulary , and has only recently had all valve clearances checked by a qualified motorcycle mechanic , the bike has been running Fuch's oil and is changed every 25 hours , the quad does not use any oil and blows no smoke , the engine by the hour meter has done 1556 hours , but the key being left on has added probably 100 hours over a few times , that i have forgotten to turn it off.
It has 17760 klm on the odometre.
The quad has indicators and extra taillights as it was previousely used on some bush tracks that required rego , the rego is not transferable and as such the plate will be removed for sale, all lights are led and will saty on the quad rather than remove and expose small holes in the plastics.
The quad is in excellent condition and would suit a rec rider or rec fishermen or shooter,. and yes it has a tow bar tongue
The quad has also had the front A-arm bushes replaced and has had a billet exhaust tip fitted with the spark arrestor still intact as to be safe when riding in dry areas, the quad has no rust in the frame and the plastics are in excellent condition, the instrumentation is fully operational .
The quad has Grizzly limited edition alloy wheels with tyres that have over 95% tread remaining
Asking price is $6500.00 obo these quads are selling for up to $7500.00 on bike sales and ebay
The quad also has a few stickers on it to which can be removed prior to sale or after if so desired .Also included are two complete workshop manuals one is the full yamaha workshop manual with nearly 500 pages and the other is a Haynes manual covering 1993 to 2005 grizzly.
I am happy to assist with transport negotiable to the purchaser and or happy to organise freight to whatever location upon agreed costs, i am happy to answer all questions in regards to this quad i am contactable on the forum by pm or by email barneyt@datafast.net.au or mobile 0438528300.
The quad was recently at the tp300 in Pinnaroo so some may have seen it there
Cheers
pics will follow soon

Hi all
Well my little toy the grizzly will be moving house all the way to South Australia ,it has been sold and i hope it brings the next Guy as much enjoyment as it has done for me.
I have updated to a 09 grizzly 700 efi Limited edition , it has elkas , yes Yogie Elka's and itp wheels and tyres , but hell no winch , not yet anyway will post some pics soon , i kept the itp rims and tyres off my 05 grizzly and the elka's , oh the hardest thing to get used to is having a red quad in the shed kind nearly makes me feel awfull as most honda's are that color lol _________________ 2012 Can am Outlander Xt 1000cc
