I don't know what you guys did to him at the Finke, but he came back a different man. He was on fire in the first race, Worthy couldnt get him...........Thats unitl........he had a Spectacular get off with Worthy smashing into his Can am.

we had a write up today in the newcastle herald,i in the drive section. i have also managed to get the NBN out to the track to have a chat on friday and they might come out and do some footage on the sunday.
all pending on a few things but the local media is excited as this event is something differant for newcastle. so get your friends and family together and come and watch on sunday 28th and support NSW ATV racing.

You guys shouldn't be so mean to Mick. He's definately popular, I mean he has to be with so many nicknames I've seen on the forums. Just to mention the ones I've seen, Lincraft, Boycraft and Roycrock. If there are any more out there that I've not seen, let me Know.

And I forgot about Chad. W.A.'s not looking as healthy at the moment.

When names like Chris Brenton, Australia’s fastest ATV racer confirm entry in an event, competing riders come out of the woodwork to challenge his speed, determination, and ability to handle all conditions.

On Sunday 28 June, Brenton will be making the trip from Western Australia over to Newcastle in NSW to compete at the KTM Quad Challenge at Barleigh Ranch, where he will race in the Pro Class and Manufacturers Cup on board the KTM ATV 505 SX.


Locals confirmed to challenge Brenton in the Pro class are Team MXN Can Am rider’s Michael Roycroft from Newcastle, and Rob Booth from the Central Coast, plus Kawasaki rider Paul Worth also from Newcastle. Brenton’s east coast KTM team mate, Len Pipiciello from the Central Coast will also be competing in the event with entry in the Vets and Experts class, plus the Manufacturers Cup.


Commenting on the racing Newcastle’s Michael Roycroft, reigning ATV Production Champion said, “There is no doubt KTM rider Chris Brenton is the benchmark, he is a very fast rider, but a victory will not be handed to him.


“Newcastle and the Central Coast have excellent riding facilities for ATV’s, and we have some very good experience at Barleigh Ranch, which will work in our favour with track familiarity.�


The 2009 KTM Quad Challenge is a first for NSW, as the event has previously been held in QLD for the past five years. Organisers are hoping to see the Barleigh Ranch circuit added to Motorcycling Australia’s official calendar to be sanctioned as an ATV State title event. Racing starts at 10am and entry is free to all spectators.

Please help support NSW Quad Racing if you can this weekend at the NSW KTM Quad Challenge by getting your entry forms in as soon as possible or coming to watch on the day.

Entrants please contact Glenn Pickering (Race Secretary) ASAP on 02 4946 5151 if you are 80% sure you will be entering so that your name can be listed in the programme then mail or bring your entry form on the day. We will be accepting entries on the day please note a national MA licence is required due to this being an open event.

There will be prizes and money awarded for holeshot awards, custom made trophies by Sheppard Customs USA for each class, perpetual trophies for the Manufacturer's Cup and State of Origin and a great racing atmosphere for riders, spectators and families. Entry is free for spectators.

Hope to see you there this Sunday June 28th Hunter Motorcycle Club Barleigh Ranch Raceway off Italia Rd, Eagleton racing starts from 10am. Please note the event will proceed rain, hail or shine.

Sorry I cant be there Roycroft.
This sounds like it will be a real spectator event and one where the locals that are used to the natural terrain stuff might be able to give Brenton a run for his money.
Anyone thinking about it should do it.
Natural terrain circuits don't usually have the scary big jumps and extremes of technical tracks.
So get out there and give it a floggin

Helping to make this event big will do wonders for things like Junior racing in NSW and the future of our sport.

This is our State title, we just can't call it that for MA reasons, i would imagine all the years NSW riders have travelled to support VIC, they would be happy to support NSW. Hope we just havent received your entries yet............AND..... you can enter on the day !!!
