Yes putt around is all I can do on a bike...not so good on them anymore, been on a quad too long

Quite surprisingly, they came to the party for side by sides at the muster...
Consistantly inconsistant.
Will do bugger all for trail riding, yet successfully tendered for Wyaralong.

Well things are coming along nicely, today we set-up the TV down at the camping area and we will a have TV with great reception for the AFL & NRL grand finals over the weekend. Also just to hand fresh, nice-ice will be available at the canteen all weekend, just in case it warms up and you need to replentish your eskies.

The entry/ exits are being done to the pipes, lookin good. The showers, toilets, canteen, coldrooms are here , the trophys, prizes and give-aways are on there way. If you have a mate ,partner, friend or family member with a horse or bike , get them here. What a weekend. Fully catered and a licenced area.

Big thankyou to Hook ,Sonya and all the Ironpot crew.
What a fabulous ride!!!!
For those who didn't make it you missed the Qld. ride event of the year.
You need to make the effort next time as this is not just a enduro event,
but a social gathering of quad/bike riders from all over the state.
Even thou it is a race /enduro ;for anyone who is unsure about racing
treat it as a trail ride with abit of a dramatic start.
Both hands on your head;flag drops;start your quad and away go.
Set yourself a goal just to finish [much like a tri-athalon] without damaging yourself or your quad and you never know others may crashout or have mechanical problems and you might find yourself with a trophy at the end of the day.
With lots of classes from sport ,farm and team events whatever you ride there will be somewhere you fit in.
Hope to see you there next time.

Well it`s being talked about again, expected date is the long weekend in october 5th 6th 7th. What we want is expesssions of interest as to it being competitive or social, remembering we had classes for everyone last year, [horses saturday, bikes sunday, quads monday] with the bottom line as to having some fun. Previous posts show what it was last year with this year being the same with only a few minor changes. The difference being that last year we said we would hold it rain hail or shine and regardless of numbers, this year if the numbers are not going to come well we will be cancelling it .
Remember this is a cross country, 30-40klm loop with 3 and 4 hour classes.

Hi Guys
Dennis and I are really looking forward to attending again on bikes that go this time. We will have 2 horses for the Saturday and 2 for the quads on Monday and can also bring the girls bikes also if they will have somewhere to ride.
Hope you get the numbers, it was a great event last year.

that's a shame. to find property owners prepared to support and run and fund an event like this is rare. but I don't think this dead just yet, maybe for this year but I think for 2014 we need a spread the awareness to ensure the event gets the support it deserves. we offer our help in what ever way required. lets start with a meeting asap.
