Wow awsome day with a few little mishaps eg race 1 pulling tear off and disconecting pull cord , race 2 taking paul smith out and ruining his medalion opportunities u rode into me is what i think , race 3 stalling in whoops wrong gear , allcomers heaps of fun watching the crazy smith boys ride need 2 have more of these races.
but it all in a days racing hope to attend more QRSA events.

hey matt, once again the awesome hospitality of the whyalla club, made an awesome day even awesomerer (lol). a big thanks to you guys on behalf of nathan and anthony and myself, they had a great time and enjoyed the weekend immensely.

Thanks guys for the hospitality, big thanks to Paul Discombe, Sue Roads, lou Smith, the Whyalla MX club for their hospitality and the Whyalla Quad guys that made our Clubman class an awesome class to watch.

Next MX is on 5th of September (Whyalla round with the two wheelers again), I think the guys would love to see us all go up and put on another spectacular quad class.

Thanks again for the awesome track it would have been better if I had ridden but I saw some great stuff in the scoring tower.

hey chels, are you going to ride on the 5th sept??. i reckon nathan is keen, haven't spoken to Ant about it yet but will see what he thinks about another shot at mx.

i forgot to thank you for your efforts too in my last post so thank you for all your work prior to and during the meeting. i know it was difficult on many levels, and you shone through it all once again

i should also thank the sundowner for the 1kg steak and consequent prize awarded for consuming it, but that's a whole new story lol

Yeah am looking at going over on the 5th because i missed out this time around and it is one of my favourite tracks. It has some really good jumps and after talking to Sandi I think i need some practice on my jumps (speed etc...). I all takes time and you know i hate to miss a single mx, this year has been really hard for me with injuries etc...am making a recovery (I hope) and should be back in full force next year!!!

if in future any adelaide travelers come up for our mx events in whyalla im sure the whyalla lads and myself, dion we both live in same street, duane smith would be happy to accomindate yah all for a few days to save camping out track in all sorts weathers, would be also arrange a bit of bush riding here in tha sticks the saturday b4 race day if yah keen.

nah there wasn't a write up in local paper after it which was a bit dissapointing foud some good pick some people watching event on face book 2 buy the look they really like nathan he in most of em

will be interested in looking at your 2011 calendar as soon as you have one, to plan more trips your way. the times we have gone in the past have always been A1.

Due to tha amont of rain whyalla has had over last few days Whyalla Motorcylye club has cancelld local mx meet on sunday 05 september because track official declaired it unsafe to hold a meet, it will be rescheduled and ill post when i know.

Howdy all

Just a quick note to inform everyone of a change in date of the Whyalla Motorcycle club round 4 motocross, the planned event on the 5th of September had to be cancelled due to very heavy rains that fell on the Friday and Saturday before the event that saw the motocross track flooded (reportedly 300 to 500mm deep in some places) we hope to rerun this event on the 17th of October please let people know as you feel fit
Will let you know if any thing changes in the mean time

hi guys
for any 1 interested our club is holding a flat track event
Our flat track isnt like a smooth speedway surface,
Its at our Mx track it just weaves in and around the jumps, its still rutted and bumpy. no good for super low bikes or anti-sway bars
Normally 2x anti clock wise races then 2x clock wise races 10 lap final race
ill get more info on event star time when get closer
or if any1 wanna join whyalla quad riders group on facebook

i might be able to get some races on 11th dec
not to sure if it going to be a car speedway night aswell
i was just asked by a m8 who knows the whyalla speedway promotor if whyalla quad riders would be interested in riding
so far it me 700, paul 166, george 711 and phil 25 who are keen and shown intrest
if i can get numbers then i can approach promotor saying this number of quad riders are willing to ride at your track
