OR are we taking this too far and losing sight of what possibly everyone would like to acheive from competing with these machines - FUN AND EXCITMENT at a reasonable cost. I know that I was watching from the sideline on the weekend wishing I had pulled my finger out and draged my fairly stock Rhino down for the weekend not really giving a rats backside if I had come first or last - some of those tracks looked fun. There was even one hill climp out of a gully which an RZR drove and most of the trucks had to winch hahaha
Cheers

Getting a bit excited I think. The above quote is where I am at.Too many rules and regulations is going to destroy it for me . Safety is of course no 1 priority, but ya gotta have fun without it being too serious. No doubt there will be a few that have a money pit to throw these things into , but it needs to be kept reasonable enough to keep average owners involved. There are limited numbers as it is as far as I can see. I cannot see myself updating suspension, engines and the like, I am looking to run as is plus whatever safety extras are decided.
This is just my two bobs worth , I am sure it will be open to much more discussion, which is a good thing.

All real valid points guys. I must admit I enjoyed the weekend especially as the only pressure on us was to try and outshine the big trucks and have a heap of fun. I haven't actually asked Polaris about numbers sold but I will certainly in Melbourne. Polaris have already agreed to sponsor a series and announcements will be made soon. They have also offered their dealers a very attractive package to get their dealers out and about and competing to make up numbers and by getting them involved, hopefully encourage their customers to follow suit. It works believe me, looks like we have sold an RZR from this weekend at Tenterfield.
Keep up the discussion.
