I will have to get my hands on some gear then. Should be able to get some boots & some gogles but dont know about armor. And what is classed as beginer or experienced?

A back guard is only about $100 from any bike shop. Must cover most of your spine (most do). Just put beginner. It is only to give the coach an idea of the mix of riders.

I think the aim with the fires is to try and have fewer but maybe more decent size communal fires.
More sociable that way anyhow.

My interpretation of the GCR's is Numbers Plate figures should be...
140 - 148mm high
75 - 85mm wide
space between figures 25mm
space to edge of plate 12mm

Figures on your back should be...
125mm high with a 20mm wide brush stroke.

Bigger is better.
Just make sure they are clear and obvious.
If you ever miss points in competition and your numbers are not up to scratch, you'll have not comeback.

I use the standard boat rego numbers.
they stick pretty good too.
