| hey mart just read your whole 500 motor build, good work. as far as the swingarm goes i really dont know if it will fit. also i dont know were you mounted your motor in your frame compared to center of your frame but i have a laeger framed trx500 and laeger mounted the motor center in the frame, although when you do that it puts the front sprocket to far in towards the center of the bike to properly align it with the rear sprocket, because the engine is not as wide as the 250. i dont know if you have already accounted for this but on my 500 they built a swingarm that is angled to the right about 25 or 30 mm to properly align the front and rear sprockets. i then re-align the rear hubs with the spacers on my axle to get the rear end aligned with the front. when it is all put together you can never tell that the swingarm isnt straight unless you stand back and look directly down the center. just something th think about if you mounted your motor in the center of the frame. |
