G'day all, Just spent the weekend preparing the track for the first round of Thunda X... Hervey Bay motocross club...
This is a NEW track, located at Redbank road, Tiaro..... (30min south of Maryborough)
The track is a sandy loam soil, with a flat top section, then drops over the edge of a 60 foot river bank onto the lower bank where it weaves in and out, with 2 floating jumps(over the top bank), and around a 50foot high natural berm...
Fast flowing track with a few technical sections.
Had Scott Watson (Pro rider ktm 125) out there doin some hot laps around 1.50min.. In that case it should be a 6 lap race..
10 acres of camping ground..... But NO shade, so bring ya quick shades....
If your a woose, Tiaro (8km away) has 1 motel, and two pubs with accommodation
Spectators -- $10 adult, $5 kids.. Full canteen and bar.
Would be great to get more Quads at there events

track is lookin good. it would be great to see a full grid but i wouldnt hold my breath Dickie. but there is a few new ones this year

we have a gate of 7 this weekend for the steel horse.
I think most of us are trying to get to most of the thunder cross rounds this year so we mite come close to getting a full grid.

i nomanated on line as well my brother nomanated on line for the round he did last year and didnt get any thing back he just had to show up they had his pass at machinery so i wouldnt worry dickie. just fitted me new pipe just in time for thunder x gives it more power now and a lot more throtier.
