Hi Guys,
I dont venture out of the 3 wheeler section too often but was wondering if my fathers ex 87/88 LT250R Quadracer was still around that he raced back in the late 80's and early 90's. He won several flat track titles on it and hope that someone still looks after it (I'm not trying to buy it). My fathers name is Ken Lawrence.

Back then it had a RM250 barrel and head, lots of holes drilled in everything to make it lighter and may of had the earlier model swing arm in it.

If you or somebody you know owns it i'd be happy to know it isnt sitting around or in pieces or something.

I will have to see what he has that I can scan.

He used to have a video but... the video is now missing.

It was the only quad that would leave the gate in 3rd and wheelstand till in 5th.

I purchased the quad off your Dad and raced it until about 1999. No idea where it went, was pretty knackered by that time frame fatigue etc.
Was very fast.
Will see if I can trackdown some pics

yeah I remember you!
I remember the Kawasaki too!
Dad never did get it running on methanol, kept doing head gaskets. I remember Graham Motum had a Suzuki too and his was on methanol I think.

Mine was on Methanol. Very, very fast. Only problem was there was a couple of cc cheats. I can still see the worst offender's legs buckle when the officials at the NSW flat track titles announced at the riders briefing that the first three places where going to be checked for capicity at the end. This guy packed up and left half an hour later. Pure gold.
Only problem was he won the Aus title two weeks before with the same engine and nothing was checked. Bummer.
