had a bit of a hell ride today with a couple of new friends ..
trail was a bitch of thing rocky as hell with slippery steeps deep puddles every where .. shannon flipped his raptor down a hill backwoods and bent his bars lucky he fell clear of the raptor as it cart wheeled down the hill
the place now known as Shannons hill........
Shannon Checking out the broken bars
Couple of 4 x 4s having some serious fun |

| pretty good pics dazz, had a ball today learnt a lot and are going to buy a lot, im feeling the sore spots now hip joint , neck back and shoulder , but im alive and moved out of the way quickly b4 it squashed me . there is definately nothing that 350 cant do that the raptor 660 can do , maybe at certain places and in some conditions like these today , too much grunt can be dangerous. thanks will ride again with u anyday. |

Queenslander is a religion. If you're not getting dirty, you're not riding hard enough. |

off upper ormeau road , very popular for 4wd enthusiasts, probably better to go there when its not so wet, we were just commited to go there rain hail or shine. this has very challenging hill climbs and tracks. not recommended for quads with twist throttles, i know this now.
p.s. this was not the hill in the photo i damaged my bike on. it was twice as high , twice as steep and twice as rocky. |

"not recommended for quads with twist throttles"
That was the first thing I changed on the quad.
I might have to check it out anyway, After my trip down to Rover Park, I'll go over just about anything. |

Lol have to agree with that twist throttle thing Shannon rolled his 660 thanks to the twist throttle on the steep sections
there's heaps trails out there avoid wet days some of the trails can be hard work on. Wet dAys |

Thanks for the advice, I'll go out on a dry day.
I think I'll be ok with the twist throttle, I've had a lot of practic (30 years)
But I'll take it steady and have a look around first, I have noticed that I don't bounce as well as I used to. |

Hey guys, I live at Pimpama & own a Raptor 350. Would be keen to catch up with some of you guys for a ride sometime. I'm fairly new to quads so would be taking it easy until I build some skill up.
cheers,

hi danny , thats not a problem, we are always keen for riding ,sundays are our favoured day, both me and dazz have kids and wives that ride quads as well. so if your a family man you are quite welcome to bring them as well. but when its just me and dazz its pretty hard core , we both ride the same and challenge our selves. we are up for travelling to find riding spots. i am trying to organise a ride down at woodburn between some mates , so when that happens your more than welcome to join us.just send a pm with you details and ill let you know when we go again for a ride.
this sunday we will be taking the family to coomera riding. |
