For a good all round tyre and best value for money I went the Kenda Klaws, about 100 per/tyre.
They are pretty chunky, great for sand, grippy on the dirt, way better than the standard dunlops....

Only my opinion though....

cheers

I agree(& so do others).A little stiffer(more plys) & much more durable than most OEM (Dunlop) tyres. -----Off topic-RR,hows youre jetting ????

After a few months I have hardly touched the tread, been riding on sand, dirt, rocks and a touch of bichumen, I have tonnes more grip than my mates with the dunlops.... In mud they would help, and gives a little more ground clearance when riding over rocks etc I am happy with em, and looked through all ATV mags and checked out all tyres on the market on all the internet sites, AUS and US, found they were the best all rounders and lots of guys run em.... nice strong tyre...

OTS...Yeah jetting is done, ended up with 170/175 mains.
Changed clips back to third clip as was a bit too rich, but does not seem to be great up top, no smoke, grey pipe now...does not seem to rev as much though, think I may chuck the lid back on and be done with it, poor lil thing doesn't like it..need some more testing time.... time to tweak ya know
In the next week i'm buyng a full system, either GYTR/LTE duals/curtis sparks or the yoshi. Trying to make an educated buy, have done a lot of homework about em all... Just to throw more spanners in the workz... thanks for asking

not knowing what tyres are out there (nubie alert!)

the miss's an i will be riding hard hard surfaces!
mainly rock!

i usually grap hard compound tyres for my yz when riding the same places! so i was wondering what you would recomend for rocky areas?

something that takes ages to wear would be good:D

also with the odd sand/beach ride it'd be good to know if the hard tyre's would still go well in the sand:D

i use the kenda klaws xcr and have found them to pretty much outlast any thing else on rocky terain. i ride rock and tar on them and they still perform better than others ive tried. 6 ply and good hard nobbys

check out all these brands in the next ATV action mag, we are doing a tyre shootout for XC tyres.
i personally like the ITP brands, they help me out with gear. they are bit more pricey than the kenda's but worth it for the quality and the selection.
