HI guy's
i have just purchased a 350 2X4 big bear yamaha atv,
the first time i rode it all drove fine but it had a leak coming from centrifical clutch bash plate on the rear axle.
it seems to be coming from the 4 bolts which connect clutch on rear axle to the tailshaft case or whateva it is further up. (im new to quad's)
i spoke to a bike mechanic over the phone and he said it may not be just a matter of a gasket change but the pinon and bearings may be gone!
the bike seems to ride fine how can i check if pinon and bearings are gone and if they are where and will it leak oil??
your help would be appreciated.
