My battery is getting a bit on the average side and will need replacing soon. What batteries have you guys bought that have past the test of time? Is there brands to be aware of and what sort of bucks would I be looking at for a good one. _________________ I am old and wise because i survived young and stupid |

I've had yuasa's and they're pretty good, but the best battery I've ever had is a Odyssey battery they cost a bit more but its worth it in the long run... _________________ If a Quad is a Quad Bike,

| I've had Odyssey batteries fail for no apparent reason. I've never (ever) had a problem with a Yuasa - they're great - and I've had more Yuasas than Odysseys. |

The key to long life is maintenance. Get a good quality battery charger/tender. It maintains the battery while in storage. I get 6 years minimum out of a battery. I've had some batteries last nearly 10! _________________ Don't close your eyes during the crash, you'll miss the best part |

Sounds like yuasa is the go. What does it cost for a battery trickle charger and where would I get one? _________________ I am old and wise because i survived young and stupid |

Get yourself a CTEK charge and maintain battery charger, there around the $100 mark, avalible from Repco and Battery World stores and most auto elecs should carry them. If you cant find one I can freight one to you. _________________ Has turned to the Dark Side! |
