All up we spent 6 hours riding around, both bikes performed excellent with speed's between 2k to 90k burst's, along good sections of tracks, keeping a eye out for Emu's they tend to run across the track in front of you and try to spoil your day, One did but he was 50 mts ahead of us.
Fuel for the trip worked out to be the POLARIS fuel gauge showing no bars and flashing empty and the BRUTE showing 1 bar and flashing at a 125k

how many Hrs have the bikes done thay look like new my honda has done 42 hrs but looks like its bin around the clock _________________ If its got wheels I'll drive it!

| Thast cool...we do these sorts of trips but usually keepit just below 100ks....Our grizzly has nearly 80 hours ..... she looks sad. |

| I live in Mount Isa.....we usually go about 50ish klms towards Duchess....theres a few waterholes(when its wet) around that area, its bloody good..we just check google earth and make sure there are no fence crossing creeks....sometimes follow the fence lines. We ride til we get to river crossings then go explore. |

| I use Google a lot, we are going to Cairns at xmas for a week if we like it we will shift up there, more riding and shooting !!! I have a big ride coming up at xmas 6 days in the desert looking forward to that, |

| Nice....I got a mate in Tully who is hanging to get the grizzly up there....he reckons theres some good country....hes got a banshee but will use his work bike.....don`t think anybody would appreciate the scream of the banshee in that area... |

Hi Guys and Gals
Got home from Tassie and i dont know how i will ever be able to match the ride i had over there , done 430 klm over 2 1/2 days and loved it , had an absolute ball great range of riding types will try and post some pics as soono as i can ,met some great guys and even met up with another group and beleive it or not there was 9 grizzly 700 fi quads in there group and a 550 no other quads.

Loved it !!! move today if I could aford to, have to pay more bills off first. It was fantastic did the Port Douglas n Mosman trips, I just like the North We lived in Darwin for years, Been in Adelaide about 8 to 9 years, and i'm
enjoying the semi Desert rides. its fantastic riding country. |
