hi fellas, need some help again!! i just finished my banshee, got the barrels back. its had a port and polish, bored 20thou over with wiseco pro-lite pistons. new bearings etc. shaved the head 25thou and a timing advance plate. it runs really really good and made a fairly big difference. i am now getting, dmc alien pipes, pro design air filter kit and a dyno jet kit, and ill also be getting a new water pump impeller. what would be the next thing to look at after that?? i was thinking either a pro design cool head (if i do go for that what cc domes should i use??) or v-force 3 reeds (i should prob get both but dont have enough $$$ just yet). Also, what type of power figure is this roughly, over stock??
Thanks again guys, jaquesy. |

looked at the suspension side of things yet?
next step would be a head 19-20cc domes (i went with 21's cause we don't get 98 octane here), then reeds and carbies _________________ 01 Banshee

dont get the pro design intake, they are crap.
get a boss or white knuckle intake with built in crossover.

they dont lift the carbs off the clutch arm and they leak around the (unneccesary) boost bottle
i have a boss manifold and have had no problems with it but i have heard of a few that leaked, so maybe look for a white knuckle, apparently they are mickey mouse.
if your goin for carbs, the next step is reeds, v force 3s. _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |
