PLEASE NOTE THIS IS COPPIED FROM THE WEBSITE
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Simply put, the Reed Spacer improves the velocity of the air/fuel mixture entering the cylinder. The result is; Increased Mid-Range Horsepower and widening of the midrange (where most of us ride) torque = pulling power. The spacer goes between the cylinder and the carby. Why is our kit the best on the market ? Because; First the Trengara Racing Reed Spacer is the correct thickness, determined from bench-flow testing, to give you torque and horsepower gains. Some of the kits being sold aren't even thick enough to do what they are supposed to.
Our Kit is made from Alcoa Billett Aluminum and is CNC machined for a perfect fit. Not just a square, but cut to fit the contour of the cylinder. We put it through an additional mild polishing process to make it look even nicer; Cad plated bolts and washers (usually not included in other kits) to avoid grinding into you manifold, both meeting ISO 9002 Specifications, as well as detailed instructions. We have added cooling fins to help reduce heat build up in the area around the intake.
Available for:
YAM;Banshee,Blaster,Raptor 80-700,warrior
HON;250r,250-450ex,atc70-250
SUZ;LT250r,LT500r,LT-Z250-450
KAW;Tecate3-4,Kfx50-80,Kfx250-700
POL;predator50-500,sportsman90-500

| The reed spacer goes between the reed cage and the cylinder. This pulls the reed cage back from the piston which slightly lowers sump compression and makes the power more tractable. It also unblocks an important port. Hinson should supply some detailed instructions. |
