Hi, my Bling Star nerf bar disintegrated during the Finke.
Are repairs ( bending back to shape and aluminium welding ) worthwile?
Or should I just throw it away ?
If discarding is the way to go, is there a more durable nerf for Suzuki LTR ?

If you can get some extra materiel onto it it might be worth repairing, does depend on how bad though.... if it's bent too far you would need to cut the bent bit off and add in new alloy.

Thanks for advice.
The right bolt eye (the only bolt holding it onto the frame) sheared off.
As a result the heel guard (one piece nerf) bent down 15 deg below the peg level.
Maybe I will try welding.
Any suggestions as to who could do it on Central Coast or Sydney's north ?
