I think its a lot better when you watch it on the pc, seem to loose quality when you put them on you tube eh.

Yeah happy with it so far. I did have it on to tape another race but it seemed to stop before I got underway...so not sure if the battery went flat. I need to get some good rechargeable batteries.

And yes you do lose some quality when you squish it down onto youtube

is $4500 too much for a helmet cam? laughing

This is for proper HD though and one day I hope to have one for my films! Cool

Just so you guys know, once something is put onto youtube from a standard helmet cam, the quality drops to about under half in case ur wondering y it doesnt look to good, especially when the image quality from the helmet cam isn't quite great to begin with.

Hey Colin, if you want a HD helmet cam, just go into Kmart and buy one of their $280 HD camcorders. Just add some decent velcro and there you have it! For the tiny bit of helmet cam I use it is ideal.

yeh, but kmart cameras would use a video codec no editing program could even slightly understand, let alone make a 1080 image. I actually work for kmart and saw that we do sell a "full" hd camcorder but I would say the 1080 sticker is there for show... Razz I can see your logic though

Let me see if I can actually afford A camera to film on without hiring them out all the time! Crying or Very sad

Back to subject now... Wink
