I am looking for a 09 DS 450 frame that has been in smash or has been replaced etc. I need to replace one or two pieces after a two wheeler had a head on with me over the weekend during the Yilgarne Rally. Also in the market for a LHS top a-arm for the 09 MX, Radiator and some other bits and pieces.

Hey Pred how did the rally go haven't heard any info on it who won? How many quads entered???

There were only 4 Quads entered that were competing. Heath Young on the KTM, Will Nyholt on the Raptor 700, Myself on the DS 450 and another guy on a Raptor 660 I think. There were 6 other quads doing it as a trail ride. The rally had been shortened to only one day as a result of land owner issues??????????????????
Heath Young's KTM gave up the ghost on a long Liason section, My mate will Nyholt's Rappy 700 blew the bottom end, and it seemed like the other official quad entry had decided to chuck in the towel.I was the only quad left in the race and the DS was running like a dream( plus I had just got the knack of the Road map etc), when low and behold, a two wheeler was on top of me as I rounded a bend( +/- 60 Km from the finish) and the rest is history.

Wow, that was you. I heard about this on another site.
Apparantly there was a difficult bit of navigation and a bunch of bikes went the wrong way and ended up cutting off 50km then looped back on to the course in the wrong dirrection. I heard that you had got the navi bit right and were going the right way.....bummer

I would love to do the Safari but I was retrenched three weeks ago( have found employment again). I will not be able to take the leave to do the Safari as I will not have worked for the new company long enough. As I am still going to South Africa in June( unpaid leave ) I will not be able take unpaid leave again.

Yeah, I finished the year off with bad luck and seemed to have started this year the same way. Like you say things can only get better.
I would like to put on record that the guy that crashed into me at the Yilgarne Rally has been very good and paid me for the repairs to my Quad. I am very gratefull for his generosity!
 I am just waiting for an a-arm to come from Canada and hopefully I will be back racing again!
