About to buy and wanted opinions on which bike to buy.
Polaris 450 MXR 08 for $9990 - New
Or
Ktm 450 XC 08 for $12990 - New
I know that the KTM is the bike to have the only thing i will ask is can i make the Polaris perform like the KTM with $3000 worth of mods?? |

Both are reliable bikes and should last a long time.
The handling is the main difference between the 2.
The rear shock on the Polaris is pretty good, but the fronts could do with an upgrade. You could use the extra 3K to replace the front shocks. Makes a big difference in the way the bike feels.
Both bikes are laid out a little different in the ergos, so the best bet is to ride both and make up your own mind as to what suits you.
What are you going to do with it? _________________ If it's not upside down, you're not trying hard enough!

Thanks for the reply.
I know i should go for a ride but its not possible.
I have bit the bullet and am going to buy the Polaris as i figure there is no way I will out ride either bike. I might as well go the cheaper option.
I wont be riding on a track to pay the bills but there is no way I want my mates leaving me laughing. I am sure it will all work out. |
