G'day all,
I have a mate who has just purchased a new 700 grizzly, he uses it for his work as a pro-shooter , he only has about 10 hours on it at the moment but it has a few gremlins, he was telling me that if he idles around shooting for any longer than 15-20 minutes without opening it up, when he goes to increase speed it will bauk, miss, flutter for a while before clearing and going as it should, I told him to ring the dealer but they are 2-3 hours drive away, has anyone got any ideas or have had a similar issue with their grizz? cheers

mine does the same and my mates as well .dont usually let it idle that long. sometime mine stalls if you give it a thumb full after idling for 5 min.

sorry this doesnt help much but he might find it will get better once hes put a few km on it ,

no worries, thanks. He is tackling the dealer over it to see if they can tune it out, with the line of work this quad will do it needs to be fixed. cheers

Stock the Grizzly's tune is EPA approved and supposed to be clean n' green. That doesn't mean it's tuned for best performance.

Even with no mods an aftermarket ECU like a Powercommander PCIII could be what your after........

I would check with the guys at www.atvfrontier.com or www.aurorawheelers.com as those guys know everything with these big 4x4 ATV's.

Good luck
