this is one of the easy motors to split the cases. The top case lifts off and the box and crank lay in the lower half. Just take good note when your pulling everything out to make sure it goes back together right. If you pull the box and selector forks out take extra care that everything is right _________________ Queensland Quad Riders Association

make sure you take off the bearing retainer plate behind the clutch basket it bolts to the bottom and top case halves.
oh yeah and use the proper flywheel puller or you'll damage the flywheel!
piece of cake otherwise. _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |

yeah if the flywheel hasnt ever been off it'll prob be a pain in the arse. we broke the puller tryin to get one off once, had to drill and tap the female part of the puller to take a bigger bolt to get the job done.
might have to (carefully) use a bit of heat to coax it off. _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |
