Any suggestions on something around 350-400 or bigger for me, I`m on a budget of around $5000-$6000 and want something fairly new ....2007 and newer.

I don`t want a racing quad....I want something that isn`t fussy.

I realise that I might be stretching it but want to get a good deal.

Theres a polaris outlaw 525 IRS (07) here in cairns for $7,000, with a bit of aftermarket stuff. Worth about $14,000 new, I took it for a ride one weekend, because i was thinking of buying it, but I decided not to, (only cos i figured a 4wd quad was probably better for where i ride)

It is a sports quad though, but depends what you think, cos it is a good buy

I`m getting a trx 400 2004 for $4500.
An aftermarket exhaust and nerf bars...... seems really good for trail riding.

I thought it was good....kinda hits the rev limiter quick.... but had enough power for how I ride. Still got the Grizzly for when I need real power and traction anyway.

Thanks for the advice!!
