hi all
we have been working on getting our first MX open meet for a while now, the dates look like they have been secured for 28th of June. this will be a quad only meet in Newcastle at the world famous rough track Barleigh Ranch.
just putting the word out there for any comments on if you would attend and any ideas for this event. as quad riders will be organiseing it and we are open to any ideas that that you have to make this event the biggest non championship event in Australia.
the other idea of having it at this time is for those whom have never expierenced our coast line consiting of stockton beach and our top secret other beach to ride at, that you could make a weekend of it and have a ball. i am sure once this event comes up, we will all be organising various activities for the out of towners to come and have fun up our way.

hey mick
the day will only be able to accomadate 3 rounds max being the middle of winter here and we can't start practice until 10am at Barleigh ranch, the sun goes down around 4.45pm or close to that.
depending if we have juniors up and running by then
we would have the normal
pro
expert
clubman
womans
2x vets classes
maybe
state of origin
production
iron man
juniors
jumbo juniors
motos would be the standard
we are open to heaps of suggestions, as we would like to make this a fun but presitgous event. with everyones help and suggestions we can make this a great event worth traveling too each year.

Would it be possible to make it a 2 day event. Run 4 or 5 rounds and have plenty of time for a State of Origin and maybe some other sort of feature race. 
Do you plan on having a NSW champs this year?

unfortunetly we cannot have the state champs this year, and we can only got the venue for 1 day. the venue that we are holding the event is also a comericial ride park with limited days the club can use the venue for club days, this year i think there is only 4 days available for club evnets and we managed to secure one of them for a quad only event.
we have yet to have a meeting this year so we can discuss with all the NSW quad riders, so more news will follow soon hopefully
