Anyone for popcorn?
The key to longer engine life is changing the oil frequently. Brand is irrelevant. Just find a reliable motorbike/quad oil supply that doesn't cost the earth. I use Bel-Ray semi synthetic 20W40. _________________ Don't close your eyes during the crash, you'll miss the best part |

This a trick that we use in Darwin look at which oil is better than others. get some 600 mm coke bottles put your fav oil in and then fill half way up with water and shake sihit out of of it and see what happens . theres probaly 50 different ways you can get water in and out of engine but once its in your oil it does work as oil no more _________________ Truth and Honor and Trust ... never under estimate Them. |

Try looking on the Yamaha website under support.
There are a few manuals there that can be viewed maybe your model is there Cheers |

If you work out the cost of a re build, plus your down time and run around time, you will discover it is cheaper and better to run the best oil you can get and change it often.
My personal favourite is ROCK OIL Synthesis 4 and ROCK OIL GRO for and gear box duties.
We ran this oil for Safari with no engine problems what so ever. _________________ When I'm racing I'm living..... everything else is just waiting. |
