Mind you I did rediscover a couple of old tracks that I had forgoton about and Goodie tells me that he's found a few new ones, where the new the freshly painted and fixed up hut, some where, were we go... along the lines of gentle annie that we all know and love dearly, bless her little heart.

Still good riding up my way. With all the rain we have been getting, there's very little dust at the moment. Found a great access track to the neighbouring woodage too thanks to some homework by Yogie. Wink Its a fair hike but worth the trouble. We are taking the bikes up for four days after xmas and I will post pics of the tracks when we get back.

Haven't sourced the parts yet (waiting for some extra $$$).
I used a synthetic 5w40 oil for tranny - no wet clutch to worry about so any motor oil will do. Or you can buy the Poolaris stuff at about $24 per litre !!! Surprised Hrm Surprised

Tracks are wide and fairly heavily wooded like that other place I rode with you. Similar stuff to the track into my place. They are pretty slippery too. At this stage we won't be having anyone staying at the shed until we get it fitted out and the toilet and genny in place. This probably won't be done until mid-Jan. Will let you know once she is ready to go.

Still getting plenty of rain up my way. Remember the half empty dam the kids were swimming in...

The dam actually overflowed and washed away the campfire area. Unfortunately the shed flooded out a bit as well and we had to pull some of the flooring up until we can reseal the walls and put the downpipe in on the guttering to divert the water. Did a bit more exploring of the neighbouring land today and discovered that the access track to Yogie's spot actually runs through private property after speaking to the land owner. Managed to find another way around and will post pics once I have got them off my phone. Plenty of mud to play around in on the way too.

We even had time to finish off Yogie's bedroom. We wanted something in Kawasaki green but this was all they had in stock laughing

I'm getting real keen to get the 250r out of the shed, I still haven't had a real serious crack on it yet.
Reckon I should be good for a ride after new years some time.......

Well I've been camping (no riding Sad ) but I have been shown a spot that has not seen a 4wd let alone a quad for years Smile most of its pines and naturally bush, I've checked it out on the map and there are hundreds of k's of tracks, and 4 river crossings, so as soon as the bloody dust is gone, I'll let you know, But the last time it rained that way (about a month ago they got NOT a typo here, but 163 mm and ITS NOT where I like to get bogged either, no where near that to be honest, Gunna be a good year for trail riding again, plus the place where the hut is, where will it end Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
