 |
|
Hi guys.
1st post....Break me in slowly.
If I were to buy a new quad in the crate, What is involved after that?
Assembly........Do myself or pay to get it done? Price?
What else in general?
I am new to quad's so after basic answers.
YFM350FA is what im looking at, I do want bigger and low range 4x4 but I can get really cheap 08 model.
Im not into outright speed, Im a 4wder and love the steep hill's and general bush cruising.
My thinking is ride it for a while, if i really love the sport i will pass it on to the wife and then buy a bigger quad 500-700 etc.
P.s Im a fat basterd 120kg, Will the 350 hate me and go no where?
Thanks guys. |

I'd find a good local bike mechanic to help you simple as that, the 350 will be a great beginners bike, my first was the Kodiak... But you will grow out of it sooner or later like I did, I'm also a fat bastard and was one of the reasons I moved up a few "cc's" in size.
welcome aboard chap, we want to see pics of the bike and crate, so where do you reside ??? _________________ 2005 KFX700

howdy mate
u'll find if u are gettin it from a dealer they wont let u assemble yourself 99% of the time but in the case u do get to assemble it ya self they are easy 4x4 quads come pretty much assembled most of the time all u have to do is assemble the handlebars, levers etc and fit bash guards then check fluids etc and pump up tires and sometimes u only have to bolt the whels on and then check the machine over. _________________ go hard or go home |
