.070" is 65.75mm, Wiseco dont make that size but Pro-X do.

Pro-X are cast pistons but will still work fine, then after that you can go to the wiseco 66's.

as for the oil seals man i would def go genuine yamaha for the crank seals and also suss out how much dearer the genuine seals are for the rest of the motor.

so i take it those barrels you bought musnt be stock bore?

i got 2 sets, some 1ua's 1.50 oversize where a monkey had a sneezing fit with a dremel inside (if you wan to see some pics, i mean "profanity removed" who ever did it is a complete (really nice person) and the others that are 31k that are standard. i was going to use the 1ua's but they are "profanity removed" so im gunna get a set of .010" overs and use the 31k's instead.

also where do you buy all the powervalve seals from? i tried emailing yamaha but no response i will try to calling them on the weekend.

thanks

you can turn a set of 31k's into 1ua's pretty easily, i think its just more inlet timing in the 1uas? i have the port maps at work, ill email em too ya tomorrow.

post some pics of the 1uas!

pretty sure yamaha should be able to get you the seals. if the old ones arent too bad its not overly important to get all new ones. jim sherrit told me its not critical that everything seals on the exhaust side, itll just be messy.

not much was done to the transfers, oviously couldnt get the dremel down there
but the port timing looks the same, nothing has changed when looking down the barrel

wow, hack job fo sho!

a good porter will be able to salvage those for you, doesnt look like too much has been removed.

if ya paid peanuts for em itd be worth to send em away, get em resleeved and ported, and then youd have a smick top end setup.

in the mean time tho use the 31ks and save some cash.

are you using RZ stator or banshee stator?

ended up buying a blown up rz motor complete for $500 with those barrels, so ive got a rz stator to use, you might have seen my post about the batt eliminator on the rz forum.

anyway's, what it cost to to get them resleeved with porting? im guessing around $1000 with a good port job?

where did you mount the powervlave servo?
can you get some pics of the pipe adaptors and how did you make em?
have you got the PCDI-10v from Borut yet
are you goign with a 10mill stroker or is that still a maybe.
also what pipes would be better for my bike if i just want to mount them straight on and not have to dent them or machine a thin plate

i think the next round will be some hiPer's for all four's then maybe a proper +2 front end before i go any further with the motor.

also 4 stroker, do you have any spare powervalve clips (the little half moons that go on the inside and stop the powervalve moving?
ive got one and need another.

hey man sorry i havent replied sooner.

yeah a resleeve and port would eat up the best part of a grand.

i mounted the servo to a length of angle aluminium and mounted that to where the TORS control box mounts, under the fuel tank just in front of the left cylinder.

I didnt make my pipe adaptors but i pulled the engine out the other night so i can get some dimensions and do a drawing for you soon if you like.

Yep i recieved the PCDI-10V yesterday in the mail. need to send my RZ stator away to be rewound, then get the zeel installed and look out dyno...

nah no 10mm for me, gotta sort this 4mm first...

i ran toomey T5s on mine with the flat pv cover. the pipe touched but it was no biggy. the flat cover is easy ill do a drawing of that too for ya. your DMCs will prolly fit, who knows. other than that the only ones that bolt on fo sho are Paul Turners, Rockets, and stockers. out of them 3 id only be keen to try the PT mids or hi's.

i do have some spare PV clamps, i will send them with the head for nothing.

hipers and a decent front end will set you back a pretty penny, but will be worth it for sure!

mark.
